In God’s Presence

Do you ever take notice to what happens to us when we don’t get enough sleep? Our bodies can feel drained, we can’t concentrate, and we can become agitated by some of the most minor things. Sometimes those very same things can happen when we don’t spend time with The Most High God. Depletion of the Word of God can leave us spiritually malnourished, we focus too much on worldly things, and we become unloving to our brothers and sisters.

There’s so much that wants to distract our attention. It’s understandable that we have demanding schedules to attend to, such as jobs, family to care for, etc. We shouldn’t let our schedules dictate our time with God. More than likely, we prayed for those blessings, yet make excuses to spend time with God who gave us those blessings.

I speak of this because there is someone who has made time for everyone but God. Stay connected to The Most High God because through obedience to His Word and prayer, we are kept safe. Let His truth speak to your heart and reveal things to you that He wants you to see about yourself and things to come. Let Him guide you from the distractions that are spiritually dead and have no purpose for your life. Speak to Him about those things on your heart and let Him help you with the solution. If you need to repent of anything that’s pulled you from God’s Will, please connect with Him in your quiet place. Until next time, pray for me and I’ll pray for you.

And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.

Deuteronomy 6:5 KJV
